This issue has a great message; though Pete and his crew are well versed in the art of cheating, Mickey and his pals use their brains to win. The artwork is wonderful, especially the designs of the various dragons. Very well done.

But in addition to kindness, they each possess the one thing that makes stories magical: imagination. How they use that imagination to get out of trouble is not for me to tell you. Review: Who knew that a tiny bouncy ball could cause so much trouble? Or that Plastic Man had a son named Offspring? I didn’t until I read this issue! (Who says comics aren’t educational?) Anyway, that ball gets everyone into a mess, most of all the Elastic Four—that’s Plastic Man, Elongated Man and their sons. How they get both into and out of their mess is simply hilarious. And I must say that Offspring’s happy expressions put a smile on my face as well.

But for us readers, it’s pure entertainment. The dialogue comes fast and hilarious on both sides, and it’s a trip watching Super Goof in action. Oh, you may want to make sure you throw your trash away the next time you attend a sporting event.
